All international mushers can go on

Now it is finally confirmed. A happy Olav Bellika, regional director of Mattilsynet in Finnmark, has given green light to all the teams that have been uncertain up til now. They all get to continue in the race and can focus on the sport.

There was a lot of suspense connected to the faith of some of the international teams in this years Finnmarksløpet. The two Italian mushers Maurizio Menghinella and Henry Coronica had said that they had vaccinated their dogs in Sweden, but they had some trouble to get the proper verified documentation. Overcoming several difficulties the proper documentation came to the Mattilsynet just before the time had run out.

There was also some uncertainty about the swiss Emil Inauen. But he will be finishing the race in good time before the time runs out for him to get documentation on the already undertaken treatment of his dogs according to the rules.
