Harald Tunheim arrived Karlebotnsletta at 3.30 am. There he was welcomed by Roger Persson, a representatives of "Varanger Samiske Museum". He got the title "Første span til Ishavet" and as bonus a wooden amulet. It is a copy of a 4.000 years old figure, which was found in Karlebotn. Petter Jahnsen reached the Artic Sea 15 minutes after Tunheim. The picture shows Tunheim and Roger Persson during the presentation of the prize.
