Finnmarksløpet 2005 is done for Thomas Hoffmann. But we want to straighten out, that the treatment against the parasite was made by Hoffmann. That is attested by a German veterinarian. The Norwegian laws demand a confirmation of a Norwegian veterinarian. Appealed to our information was that the only failing. Certainly Finnmarksløpet will call Mattilsynet for an exact reason and explanation in this case.
Hoffman is a respectable musher and he was a fast friend of Finnmarksløpet. Many mushers are sharing the same opinion that they picked out the wrong. Thomas Hoffman is very careful and accurate with the health of his dogs and he pays attention that all documents are alright.
The rule Mattilsynet invokes is a new rule and none of the mushers from abroad took note of it.
