With his great leg to Levajok, Emil Inauen managed to make up time to the top. The Swiss musher has been the fastest at this part of the trail. Now he is at the fifth position and between him and Hilde Askildt is only one hour.

Inauen was starting with a very young team. He wants to gain experience in long-distance with this dogs. Six of his dogs are less than two years old. This "Kindergarden" is supported from two older and more experienced dogs. The Swiss characterises all his dogs as leaders.

"In my kennel is only one dog, which I would not call leader." he told before the race began. After the fast run to Levajok we can expect more, but the most important thing for Emil is still the welfare of his dogs.

"They are too young to drive at the top, but they are already fast!" he told proud. Maybe the dogs are able to keep their brilliant performance and we will have the first international winner of Finnmarksløpet. Goodness knows!
