Harald Tunheim still wants to be first on the trail. After a 5 h 30 min break he left with 13 dogs right before 11 AM.
The dog that Tunheim left at Levajok was one of the teams' stayers. However, checkpoint reports that the musher is optimistic. His team was reported to be going very well from checkpoint. One favourite, Peter Jahnsen, is only 25 minutes behind Tunheim. He still has a full team.
Third musher in at Levajok was Roger Dahl. When Tunheim left Dahl shook his head and said that he was going to rest for at least one more hour.
- They are good mushers, but it is still far to go, he commented.
