A kind of time schedule

When will the competitors reach the different checkpoints? When will they pass by where I live?. When will the reach the finish line? This is some of the most important questions for everyone following the Finnmarksløpet race. But they are hard to answer. Finnmarksløp veteran Arne Oddvar Nilsen is trying.

Reservations

But, these points of time are given by great reservations. Nilsen thinks nobody normally is able to go as fast as the table indicates. Most likely the onlookers have to wait one hour or two at the first checkpoints, and may be a day or more at the last ones - especially for the longest race. A lot of factors as the weather, the state of the trail and the competition it selves will affect the going of the teams.
