Thats says a surprised, but happy Jan Gunnar Vian after receiving the news that he is the winner of a free entry fee for the 2005 race. The final decision for Jan Gunnar to start or not, is not yet taken. - The dogs will partcipate, but I don`t now if it will by my handler or myself who will join them, he says.
The winner is from Alta and belongs to Alta Sledgedog Club. His only efford to win the free entry fee, was to sign in for the race within the due date. Well done, Jan Gunnar.
This years entry fee for Finnmarkløpet are 6.500nkr for 1000km og 3.500nkr for 500km. Jan Gunnar Vian, or his handler, are suppose to start in the 500km race.
