Still maximum 14 dogs to start in the 1000 km

The Trail Committee opens for a debate about the maximum numbers of dogs in the Finnmarksløpet 1000 km - Open class, but for the 2005-race the number of dogs will be between 9 and 14 as it has been for several years. For Finnmarksløpet 500 km - Limited class, the maximum number of dogs will still be 8.

- The Trail Comittee will after the 2005-race adress this matter and open for a possible change in the numbers of dogs for the race in 2006, says Racemarshall Marit Honerød Hoveid.
