Cyril Azouvi og Rodolphe Escher have traveled all the way from Paris to cover Finnmarksløpet. They are very overwhelmed of the generousity norwegean people have shown them and of the landscape here in Norway.

They also are very impressed that even though the participants in the sled dog race are very tired, they always give themselves time to talk to the journalists and answer their questions. Before they came to Alta, the starting point of Finnmarksløpet, they had a short visit in Lofoten and Tromsø. Now, as they travel around Finnmark to follow up with Finnmarksløpet, they are very surprised about how well the race is organised and arranged. At the same time they are very impressed with the participants in Finnmarksløpet and their dogs; that they manage to conduct and run 1000 km. , which they say is a true adventure. They like to be traveling in the middle of nowhere followed with all kind of winterweather one can imagine. The temperature has been kind to them these last days, and they know it could be werse. It can be good for them, but, as they self comment, its not good for the dogs to race when there is little snow, as it is more difficult for them to race on icy ground.
