Show race in the world's best city trail at 12.30

On Friday March 4^th, there will be a show race in Alta city center. The FL-1000-teams will not have a re-start in Sorrisniva, like previous years. The teams will participate in a show race Friday at 12:30 PM, with passenger in the sleds and exciting activities different places in Alta.

- The show race replaces the event we used to have before the re-start on Saturday, with a guest in the sled. The Friday show race will be a nice experience for participants, passengers and the audience. Several of the participants have expressed that they would like to avoid the re-start, in order to reduce the stress on the race dogs, says press manager Trond Anton Andersen.

The show race will take place between 12:30 and 14:00, with start and finish line in Markedsgata. Along the way, there will be four posts and unceremonious competitions. The trail measures seven km, and there will be guards at all road crossings.

- There will be a lot of fun along the trail, so come cheer on participants and guests, says Trond Anton Andersen.
