The musher with the best accumulated result of FL-1000 in 2014 and 2015 will win a Saltdalshytta cabin, worth a total of NOK 540,000. Last year's winner, Sigrid Ekran, seems set to win the 2015 race too and has lead the race ever since Neiden 1. She thus seems to have a firm grip on the prize.
Last year Ekran finished 1st, followed by Birgitte Næss Wærner and Ronny Frydenlund. If Wærner had won over Ekran this year, the cabin would have gone to the one of the two with the shortest accumulated racing time. Wærner, however, is #8 in this year's race out from Karasjok, so she is not in a position to threaten Ekran's position. Nor is Frydenlund able to do anything about it.
