FL-1000: Sigrid Ekran with good spead to Jotka

Compared to last year, Ekran has kept a much higher speed from Karasjok to Jotka. It does not seem like the grand old men, Brennodden and Johannessen, have been able to close in on her.

Sigrid apparently feels safe, and chose to rest for an hour at Jotka before hitting the remaining 50 km trail to Alta, according to the Finnmark Race crew at the check-point.

The weather seems to be rather nice, with just a bit of wind and around 0 degrees Celsius at the Jotka checkpoint. In Alta it is about 2-3 degrees C, so Sigrid has to expect soft and sticky conditions mushing down from Jotka.

Estimated time of arrival at the finish line in Alta is around 16:30 this afternoon.
