One of the prizes for the winner of FL-500 is a celebration dinner at Scandic Alta for the musher and his/her +1. Elisabeth Edland brought along her partner and handler Per Olav Gausereide to the dinner, which they enjoyed together with the Mayor of Alta, representatives from the mushing associations, as well as representatives from some sponsors - the Scandic Hotel Manager, the Sparebanken Nord-Norge (bank) and the Finnmark Race.
Scandic Alta hosted the dinner. It is one of the prizes for the 1st place in both FL-500 and FL-1000. In addition, the winners in both classes, get to spend the night in one of the hotel suites.
