Trond Ørslien, Vestre Gausdal, arrived at the finish line at 03:51 and considered the experience amazing. After having been at the bottom of the ranking for many years am I extremely satisfied with this race. It was just fantastic and very extreme. This was really a step forward. Harald Tunheim, a repeated winner of the Finnmarksløpet was also in the finish area and pointed out that he was impressed by Ørsliens effort and congratulated him for the personal victory in this years Finnmarksløpet.
