Honorary award to Marit Hoveid Honerød

Marit Hoved Honerød was a solid Race Manager for 10 years. She had a major impact on the growth of the race and Finnmarksløpet have a lot to thank her for. She has been working hundred and hundreds of hours for the race – voluntary. Her Finnmarksløp carriere started in the mid nineties.

Marit is known as a “Yes person”, with a warm laughter and a winning smile. Earlier year, she was easy to spot – because of the big and curly hair. 

Marit Honerød Hoved is the first women to recieve the award. Former receivers are Kjell Brennodden, Rogher Dahl, Miquel-Angel Martinez, and Sven Engholm.
