Start numbers

Start numbers for FL500/FL500RNB and FL1000 is know updated. You will find them here 
Start numbers for FLjunior will be updated after the Mushers meeting tomorrow.


 FL-1000 trail change

Due to bad trail condition (water on top of lakes) the trail is changed from Kirkenes to Ellentjern. The distance is now 101 km, not 119 as first announced.


Freeze Container UPDATED March 4th

Finnmarksløpet has obtained a freeze container that is available for participants.
You will find it 1,5 km north of Øvre- Alta @ Kautokeinoveien 15.

Only feed that will be used during the race can be stored in the container.

Hours

Tuesday 13:00 to 15:00 and 19:00 to 20:30

Wednesday: 10:00 to 12:00, 14:00 - 16:00 and 19:00 to 20:30

Collect Thursday at Stand Camping, 09:00 to 12:00

FL-1000 Time in Karasjok

The race is longer than before. Therefore, the deadline for beeing out of checkpoint Karasjok is moved to midnight between Saturday and Sunday.


 

The FL-1000 trail

We‘re sorry no anounce that the trail description of the stretch before and after checkpoint  Ellentjern is not in place yet. We will notify through this article when it is ready.
GPS tracking will be updated as soon as possible, we await some changes around Tana.

The distance between Kirkenes and Ellentjern is now measured. It is 120 km, longer than first anticipated.
From Ellentjern to Neiden 2, the distance is 77 km.

 

Possible airline strike in Norway.

Airline company, Norwegian, flying between Oslo – Alta and Oslo - Kirkenes can be affected by a strike from Wednesday. Get more information here.
