Many mushers heading for Alta

Many of the mushers are now out on their way from Skoganvarre towards the finish line in Alta. Frode Holten left the checkpoint at 19:18 after having rested for over 9 hours, therefore more than his mandatory rest and may be the price for earlier short breaks. Shortly before 21:00 a satisified Arne Karlstrøm left with a very fresh team ahead of him. He was looking forward to a nice tour to Alta. He was followed by Tore Albrigtsen and Tove Sørensen, still going together, about 15 minutes afterwards. The next musher out of Skoganvarre will be Kjell Brennodden, but he will not be leaving before midnight. Soon Thomas Rosencrantz will be coming into the checkpoint, while the last two mushers have not yet taken off from Levajok.
