The weather forecast will not frighten Sebastien Vergnaud from France. He likes the cold and the wind. He claims the more challenging the weather, the better.
Vergnaud has the best final ranking for any Frenchman in the race so far, 18th place in 2011. He has competed in FL1000 once before, and claims he is ready for a new, testing race through Finnmark. The poor weather conditions ahead do not frighten him. He claims to prefer challenging conditions.
-I am ready to rock’n roll, he says.
The goal for this years race is to finish, and preferably in the top 20-30 rank.
