Bjørnar Andersen, the leader of the open race is being observed by Radio Alta reporter Trond Anton. Right now they are 24 km outside of Jotka. Anton measured the speed of Andersen over the length of 2 and a half km, of which 300m were going steeply uphill. The speed measured was 10 km per hour. This would mean that Andersen will be in Jotka in around 2 hours. Then we will know more about when to expect Bjørnar back here in Alta. By now the third of the race, Roger Dahl from Alta, has also entered the goup heading home. His team also consists out of just 6 dogs and he left Skoganvarra at exactly 16:32.
