Bjørnar Andersen, Oslo has now entered the last stage of the Finnmarksløpet 2004. He left from Skoganvarre as expected at 13:16, exactly 8 hours after he entered the checkpoint. The outside reporter Niels Westphal observed Andersen before he left and described him as calm and balanced. Andersen took some time to chat with his closest competitor Ralph Johannessen and also for an interview with NRK Troms and Finnmark. His team of six dogs is expected here at Alta Strand camping around 22:30, but a better estimate will be possible as soon as he reached the last official checkpoint at Jotka.
