FL-1000: Has Fjestad found his identity?

"A big part of my identity is left behind on the Finnmarkplateau, I shall see if I can find it again."

These were the words of the levelheaded veteran Stein Håvard Fjestad before start in Alta. Finnmarkslopet.no had the pleasure to have Stein Håvard as a writer last year, with his column “Fjestad’s Insight”. He has years of experience as a musher in Finnmarksløpet, all the way back to the mid 80’s, often with good results. He has had a break, but is back as a contender this year. We have missed him!

From checkpoint Kirkenes we are told he only had a 38 minute stop, before continuing towards Neiden 2. He is really starting to move. Maybe he has caught a glimpse of his identity somewhere up ahead?
