Trailmanager, Magne Johansen, reports about extreme challenges for the trailbreakers in the tracks. There has been a snowfall of aproxymently 50-100cm between Sirbma and Levajok. It will now be a real challenge to find the old trackbase, the mushers will face, at least the same difficult conditions as they met last year. In the meantime, the crew are doing their best to prepare the track towards Alta, as we speak.

The track from Varangerbotn to Sirbma seems for the moment okei, the same between Levajok and Karasjok all the way over the mountain plateau of Finnmark to Jotka. The mushers will face more snow in the trails down to Alta, the trailcrew will try to prepare the track before the arrival of FL-1000 teams.
