The leg from Neiden to Kirkenes is 75 kilometer long. Th same distance for everyone, but the experience of the leg is very different among those who have reached Kirkenes tonight. While Trine Lyrek had one of her toughest experiences ever plowing across the mountain plateau, Kristian Walseth was thrilled about the condidtions and the dogs.

 - The leg has gone great. Very good trails. Solid tracks, so it went well, he says after arriving Kirkenes. Stine Berget Nordvik was also happy, but very tired.

 - I look forward to resting for a long time, she sighed.

But it is hard for the young girl from Melhus to do the race. When asked by the veterinarians about the names of the dogs she has taken out earlier in the race, it took a minute to answer. Simply, her brain did not function as it should.

 - Sorry, I can`t think right now, she laughed to the Spanish veterinarians. They smiled and were happy to wait until her brain worked again.

Harald Tunheim, who arrived Kirkenes a little before Kristian and Stine, had a tougher experience than the two younger competitors. With two dogs changing on riding on the sled, it became heavy on the snowy trails.

- No, it has been tiring. I guess I could have mushed 30 minutes faster without the dogs in the sled. Just having to change them in and out of the sled took a lot of time. But they became stiff very suddenly and it is not something you can see beforehand. So it just ended like that, he says.
