Godan feels that it is comfortable to be in the leading position, but he points out that the race is only half done. He hopes for a good leg. When we ask him what plan he has for the rest of the race, he replies that he has learned to not have to many plans because things can change during a race.

When asked how his team was doing, he replied – the dogs are alright, but it’s a different story with” the old man”. Wingren took off four minutes after Gonda.
Katy Meier says that both mushers in front of her are strong. For her the most important thing is that she race together with her dogs, and winning is just a bonus.
