The lack of snow at some places has caused Kjell Brennodden some trouble. During the downhill ride towards Levajok ruined the brakes of his sled because of the rocks and bare ground. Brennodden was obviously not able to continue with a defective brake and the rules of the Finnmarksløpet allow a change of the sled. Therefore he had to bring in his substitute sled, which was brand new and unused. It is reported from Levajok that Brennodden has not yet begun with his preparations to take off.
Installation: Many of the guys from Brennodden's big Handlerteam had to lend a helping hadn for the installation of the new sled.
