FL-500: First musher out from Skoganvarre

21:27 tonight Dag Broch startet out from Skoganvarre as the first musher in FL-500 after 2 hours of resting. Finnmarkslopet.no`s man in the trail, Markus K. Leistad, says that most of the teams in front is expected to leave the checkpoint around 22:30, after about 4 hours of rest.

 

It is a bold move starting out in front with less rest than the other teams. The weather report says that they can expect winds up to 13m/s and snow over the mountains, which may cause a slow trail for the mushers in front.
