Finnmarksløpet has decided to allow preventive medication against gastric ulcer in Finnmarkslopet 2013. New rules from IFSS were announced in February 2013, and allow use of this kind of medication.

According to IFSS`s new rules, there are also some other medications which are now allowed. However, Finnmarksløpet is awaiting NHF`s handling of the new rules. We have therefore decided not to allow anything but the preventive medication against gastric ulcer.

Current doping rules regulations for Finnmarksløpet 2013 will be IFFS`s rules, from before 8^th February 2013. This means, same rules as for 2013, except the preventive medication against gastric ulcer.
