At 04.52 this morning, the man who most people know as the wilderness man and adventurer came in to his best result in Finnmarksløpet. –I’m very satisfied having reached my goal to be among top ten. Especially when the dogs are so fresh, says Monsen. He came in with seven dogs that together with their owner seemed to be well pleased with their effort. –I’ve got four to-year old dogs that have worked very well.

About the race ha says it was great to get some rough weather this time. –When I passed Pasvik we faced the rough weather. Together with going the other way it created strong experiences. But it was very hilly, though! Says the adventurer who describes the race as a tough, controlled game compared to being on your own with legs as long as Finnmarksløpet.
