At the banquet we met Tomas Nyheim Lambela from Skibotn with his wife Charlotte and their children Sare Othelia (3 years) and Nils-Ove (10 months). The whole family was dressed up in lukaer that grandmother Ninni has made for the occasion. Charlotte tell us that she and the kids have followed Tomas from start to finish.

-It has been a very nice trip. We have slept in lavvu (tent), and it worked fine for all of us. Many have asked us about why we brought the kids on the trip, and the answer is that as a family we have used so much time and money on the dogs, so we wanted the kids and I to take part in the fun part too, says Charlotte.

There are not many mushers who have such a nice handler team.
