Harald Tunheim came to Varangerbotn with a slightly better leg time than Robert Sørlie, 3 minutes.

Tunheim confirms that the leg has been exhausting, and the heavy wind in the mountains caused almost impassable terrain. He had to break through snowdrifts with sharp edges caused by the wind. The weather got better after a couple of hours. But he has been terribly tired, and fell asleep behind the sledge a couple of times. He won’t reveal his next move, -It depends what the others do!

Sørlie is 39 minutes behind Tunheim in Varangerbotn. Sørlie had the same tough weather conditions as Tunheim. He was unsure if he would manage to drive over the mountains. Slow but steady they made it through several huge snowdrifts. The team of dogs has found its rhythm. Sørlie is tired, and he wants to rest. But he makes a good laugh when an anxious photographer stumbles over his bundle of straw with a face plant.
