FL-500: Rookie of the year!

Moving experience when Vidar and his dogs finished in Alta after a well accomplished Finnmarksløp.

This year’s Rookie in Finnmarksløpet is Vidar Uglebakken (38) from Alta. This is his first proper long distance race with a team of dogs. His goal was to finish the race with as many healthy dogs as possible. On the checkpoints he has reported that he has been very satisfied with handlers and his dogs. But the race became tougher than he expected and prepared  for. But with the title Rookie of the Year has Vidar showed very good collaboration with all six dogs he brought back too Alta.
