The dogs should not have a bad experience

After winning the race the last two consecutive times I do not need to prove anything to myself. This was Rune Johansens comment to the Altaposten earlier today after he had dropped out of the race at Polmak. I do not want to give the dogs a bad experience by pushing them further on. Within the last 24 hours he came to realize that victory was this year simply out of his reach. There was not enough tension and power in the team to catch up the many hours that the leading duo of Bjørnar Andersen and Frode Holten were ahead of him, states the Altaposten.
