Mayor of Sør-Varanger, Cecilie Hansen, and Robert Sørlie

Robert Sørlie came in to Kirkenes and the turning point for Finnmarksløpet first. He was clocked in at 13.25 on the lake outside of town and has used 6 hours and 13 minutes from Neiden. The ride was good, but Sørlie admits that the Kimek hill was a bit challenging. His dogs are in great shape. No problems. They did not want to stop in the street outside the hotel. Here there was first an interview with NRK, then a gift presentation from Mayor Cecilie Hansen.

In the end Sørlie had the honor of lighting the bonfire pan outside the hotel entrance. He turns to the mayor with the following question: - Is this set up properly? Remember I’m a firefighter!
