Trine Kristiansen Lyrek has had passengers for most of the leg from Tana, and was red cheeked on arrival Neiden 1. First it was one dog that needed a lift, and from Karlebotn there were another one. The last part of the leg she had to put both in the sled. –I’ve been pedaling a bit, to put it like that, says Lyrek who is looking forward to rest.

One of the dogs is a bit stiff, the other one is just tiered, but it is out of the question to continue with any of them. –I’ll leave behind those two, she says. She arrived at Neiden one minute past six, and even though she had dogs in her sled, it is not slow. She has only used 15 more minutes than Harald Tunheim on the leg from Tana to Neiden.

Lyrek came in with 13 dogs, while Tunheim already is down to 12.
