After 12 kilometers from the checkpoint in Karasjok towards Jergul, the trail is diverted from the original trail. This is because the dog teams should have the best possible snow conditions from Assebak`ti and several hundred meters further before the trail continue against Jergul. The new trail is marked, but the GPS tracking will deviate from the trail map.
