Arne Liaklev briefly met Harald Tunheim when he came in to Levajok this morning. Tunheim was heading out from the checkpoint as the first musher, while Liaklev was planning a stunt by following Tunheim without resting. That proved to be hard. The dogs had no plans running past all the great straw, and made several attempts to stay at the checkpoint. Liaklev finally got his team back on track, brought some straw and left the checkpoint. He probably plans to rest further up the trail.

Magne Storstein, Trine Lyrek and Arne Karlstrøm had all started their preparations for the next leg when Tunheim took off.
