Inger Marie Haaland came hastily in the back way to checkpoint Skoganvarre as the first musher in the 1000 kilometer class, with a small detour outside the torch path. She says she has tried to break, but the dogs wanted to gallop the whole way. She can also give rapport of good tracks from Jotka.

Magne Storstein followed neck and neck with Haaland in to the checkpoint. Storstein is doing his first 1000 kilometer. His goal is to do his job well and take it from there. But he is planning to continue the fast pace. Harald Tunheim was the fourth team in to Prosanger. He says it has been okay, but the tracks towards Jotka were soft. Robert Sørlie is partially agreeing with Tunheims evaluation.

The first eight dog teams in FL-1000 has driven quite evenly in to Skoganvarre
