Stein Are Harder first in Skoganvarre and ready to receive award.

The mayor of Porsanger, Knut Roger Hansen gave a award to the first male musher to Skoganvarre. This year it was Sten Are Harder (47) from Sør-Varanger who made it to the checkpoint first. He has a high start number and it will be interesting to see how the other mushers have done on this last leg. Harder received a pair of warm mittens and a gift certificate for 1500 kr.
Katy Meier got the same price as the first female musher to Skoganvarre a short while later.
