Premieutdelingen for Finnmarksløpet 1000 samlet mange tilskuerer i "Finnmarksløpsgata" i formiddag. Det ble en verdig seremonie for flotte hundekjørere som har skapt spenning for publikum hele uka.

Roger Dahl , or "Mr. Finnmarksløpet", was cheered by the audience when he received his gold medal as Norwegian Champion and the Royal Cup for his efforts in this years' race. President Gunnar Solberg from the Norwegian Sled-dog Association handed out the prizes.
As winner of FL-1000 2011 Roger also won NOK 63 000 and an ATV Polaris Sportsman 500 efi. He also won the Saltdalshytta-cabin worth NOK 520 000. The luxurious cabin was presented by the director of Saltdalshytta AS Per Aronsen. It was stand-in Mayor Anita Håkegård Pedersen who handed out the prizes to all the winners in the FL-1000 class.
The sun was shining at the podium and teh ceremony ended with a performance by artist Elin Kåven. She sang also at the start of the race, so the circle is now complete.
Tonight there is a banquet at Rica Hotell and tomorrow there is party for all the volunteers, also at Rica hotell.
