På delt 7.plass kom årest beste utenlandske kjører Bernhard Schuchert i mål. Dette er det niende Finnmarksløp han gjennomfører og han har aldri hatt så god plassering

- This is the best team I have ever started with and the best place I ever got , says a happy Bernhard. He and his family live in Sessenberg in Germany but they spend a lot of time in Norway training dogs. This is probably the reason he speaks Norwegian so well too. After participating in a total of nine Finnmarksløp, Bernhard has got a lot of experience and keeps climbing upwards on the list of results.
