A little before the first teams left Neiden at lunchtime, they got a solid supply of music to send them on their way. ”Songs of the Hearts” played Russian, Norwegian and Jewish folk music.
- We are Russias answer to Lars Bremnes, says Anna Rostrup, who is from Musikk in Finnmark and plays the clarinet. Russian musicians playing the violin, guitar and keyboard accompany the songs. These musicians are popular in Russia and will play modern folk music at Varangerbotn checkpoint on tuesday and Karasjok on wednesday.
