Bernd Helmich nr 3

Bernhard Helmich bor i Alta, kom i mål kl. 16.41, ble nr 3 på FL 500, men får ikke bronsemedalje. Han er tysk statsborger.

Bernd had the possibility of getting 2nd place, but the ladies and their dogs ahead of him where stronger. Instead he had to concentrate himself in order to hold back one man, Jørn Sødahl Kvam (35), who at periods was just 2-3 kilometers behind. 

Bernd succeded and received warm congratulations from his wife and little daughter at the finish in Alta.
