The following text message came from the trail at 11.17: Having started the dogs, it came to a sudden stop one kilometre past Suossjavrre Mountain Lodge. Bitches in heat resulted in a fight between to male dogs, which changed the mentality of the team. Many hours of trying to get them moving, ended with 2-3 hours rest in the sun before we will try to hang on another team over the mountains.
Everyone in the press office are impressed with the degree of sportsmanship portrayed by Johansen; to be able to send a humorous text when the opportunity for a top position is lost.
