FL-500: Morning rush in Jergul

Tetbildet er i ferd med å endre seg noe. Ole Sigleif Johansen har ledet løpet fra første sjekkpunkt og han leder fortsatt inn til Jergul. Men bak han kommer damene brått og brutalt.

Elisabeth Edland and the new World Champion Marianne Skjøthaug, have considerably shortened the lead Johansen had on them. Now that day is dawning and after a six hour rest, Ole Sigleif Johansen starts out as the first musher in this last lap. But with Edland and Skjøthaug on his heels, just 2 and 7 minutes behind him. Of the three, it is Skjøthaug who has the most speediest team with the fastest running times. Bernd Helmich lies 25 minutes behind Skjøthaug.

Further down the list it is also tight and in the morning hours in Jergul an intense battle is about to begin for the Norwegian Championship medals and subsequent placements all the way to the finish line.

Can Marianne Skjøthaug from Drøbak/Langfjordbotn take "the double"? In this case she would make history.
