FL-500: Watch out for Sødahl Kvam

Han har ikke vært i teten tidligere. Men nå puster Jørn Sødahl Kvam tet-kvartetten i nakken.

Jørn Sødahl Kvam was the fastest from Levajok to Karasjok. He is a very experienced musher and has been in the lead of FL-500 before. Last year he ended up third and was considered one of the favourites.

Contrary to Johansen, Helmich and Skjøthaug, Sødahl Kvam has rested more earlier on in the race. Therefore he could leave Karasjok after only 2h 16min at the check point and could eat minutes and get closer to those ahead.

Out from Karasjok he is about one hour behind Ole Sigleif Johansen in the lead. The question is whether Sødahl Kvam's short rest in Karasjok creates lower speed towards Jergul. We'll know in a few hours.
