Alt går ikke etter planen for Sigrid Ekran. Hun må sette igjen flere hunder i Tana på grunn av skader. Det er langt til Alta med kun ti hunder i spannet.

Sigrid does not hide that she is disappointed and thoughtful about the injuries in her team. But at the same time she is certain that the ten left are fit and ready to race on at high speed.
- I had to break a bit on the way to Tana because of the three dogs that had problems with the speed. Also considering that I had to put Eraq in the sled at the end, I am actually quite pleased with both the tempo and the development in the race. I have also rested more than many other teams, Sigrid concludes.
