- A bit into the race I noticed that the dogs in the front suffered with stomach problems, and then I knew what was going on, Dervo laughs.
– When we arrived at check point Jotka I gave them some tablets with the food, and suddenly they felt better. The leg from Jotka to Skoganvarre went well. The tracks have been good so the tempo was high towards the check point. Dervo's further tactics have not changed: Let the dogs go at their own speed, but still move steadily forward.
- This was fun so I look forward to heading out from Skoganvarre, says Dervo.
