Frode Holten, Rorøs, started out with a time advantage of 2 and a half hours over Bjørnar Andersen, Oslo. According to our expert commentator Robert Sørlie this does not say anything about the possible outcome of the race. Nothing is decided. He thinks that the race will be decided by the resting times. - It is tragic what happened to Petter Jahnsen, that he had to drop out. He had the freshest team, but that is the Finnmarkslopet. To be able to finish well all details have to fit together, says Sørlie, who will be appearing on breakfast TV tomorrow morning at 6:45 on TV2.

Robert Sørlie has won the Finnmarkslopet three times before and knows therefore what he is talking about. He says that the race is still completely open. In his eyes the real race starts now that half of the trail has been passed.

- Untill now they the top three nearly had the same speed on the trail. From now on we will be seeing big differences in the driving times, especially in the long stages. But a lot will depend on the resting time anyhow is his oppinion.
