Jeff King at the wheel

Alaskan Musher Jeff King took everybody by surprice when he was the wheel at Sigrid Ekrans sledge from the start in Alta saturday.

Jeff King is in Alta to follow Finnmarksløpet close. But he is not competing. But when World-Champion Sigrid Ekran started i downtown Alta today, she sat in the sledge with Jeff King mushing.

The Start in Alta is a show start. The real start taking place two hours later 20 km outside the town centre. We asume Ekran her self is back on the Wheel when the Race is on for real.
