Jotka FL-500/FL-1000
The check point is at Jotka Fjellstue/Mountain Inn, impossible to reach by car. It is situated approx. 10 km from where the teams cross the road by the lake called Jotka. It is possible to rent rooms or cabins at the Mountain Inn and there is also a small café.

Skoganvarre FL-500/FL-1000
The check point is at Skoganvarre Turist- and Camping right on the main road E6, approx. 25 km south of Lakselv. There is a café and cabins for rent. During the race, there will be an extra café in a tent close to where the teams arrive.

Levajok FL-500/FL-1000
Check point Levajok is on the main road E6 approx exactly in between Karasjok and Tana bru. The check point is located at Levajok Fjellstue/Mountain Inn. Here is a café and cabins for rent.

Karasjok FL-500/FL-1000
The area used as check point is called ”Gjesten” (the guest) and is situated right next to Rica Hotel Karasjok.
The mushers café is located in the tourist attraction ”Sapmi Park”.
We recommend you to call the hotel for requests about accommodation.

Jergul FL-500
The check point is at Jergul Astu on the road Rv. 94, 38 km west of Karasjok.
Jergul Astu is a modern Mountain Inn with a big café/restaurant and a large capacity to house overnight guests.

Tana bru FL-1000
The check point is located in the centre of the town, by Elva Hotel.
There are numerous eateries close to the check point.
For accommodation we recommend Elva Hotel.
At he same time as the Finnmarksløpet race arrives town, Tana Kommune/Municipality arranges a winter marked/festival.

Neiden FL-1000
The check point is at Neiden Fjellstue/Mountain Inn which is in Øvre/Upper Neiden, a couple of km from the main road E6, along Rv. 893 towards Finland. This is a traditional Mountain Inn with cabins and a spacious café.

Kirkenes FL-1000

Varangerbotn FL-1000
The check point is located at Varangerbotn Sjøsamiske museum. Café and lots of space. The check point has accommodation for mushers, handlers and Finnmarksløpet-staff only. It is right on the main road E6 approx. 20 km from Tana bru.

Sirma FL-1000
This check point is plain but cozy! It is simply located at the private property of the friendly and hospitable couple, Magnus and Marit Varsi. The check point is approx. 45 km south west of Tana bru, right in the main road E6.
Mushers and handlers may sleep here. There is a house where one may cook, as well as hot meals for sale. No cabins or rooms for rent at this check point.
